Drivers (Quantian on Acer Aspire One)
(too old to reply)

I booted Quantian/Knoppix/Debian from DVD and I really like the
software it has, but it does not seem to recognise any of the devices
(Acer Crystal webcam, atheros wlan, microphone, sound..)

THe system has linpus (Acer Aspire One). If I run knoppix-install will
it detect these devices and maybe keep the existing linpus drivers?

The button that turnes the wlan on and off does not light up when
triggered as it does on Linpus.

Both times (DVD boot) I got a crash window which doesn't give any
causes and shuts down nicely. It recognises the USB and touchpad fine
and knows it is a laptop with battery. Why shouldn't it catch the wlan
and webcam?
